Here voice IS pretty hard believe, but keep in mind that such phenomenon are not unknown. World famous opera singer Beverly Sills was apparently wowing folks when she was 10 years old as well - so such amazing talent at such a young age is - though exceedingly rare - not unknown.
On a side note, I see that her AGT performance is already up to over 321,000 hits in the last 36 hours, with several other versions in the "tens of thousands" as well. The YouTube audition is well over 1 million.
And again, for those who STILL think she was lip-synching, here's a home-made video of her singing the very same song when she was just 8 - with no microphone and no accompanyment. Clearly she wasn't as good THEN as she is NOW but none-the-less, it's obvious that she already developing an amazing voice and was VERY TALENTED even at that young age. Considering the 2 years of practice and coaching she's no doubt had since then, it's not at all surprising how great she sounds NOW.
I thought Jackie's voice was amazing and what a pretty girl she is! That said, I still hope Michael Grimm wins. He may not be as talented technically but I would rather listen to him sing. I just love his style of music and his voice is something I would pay money to listen to.
The thing that amazed me about Jackie is that not only does she have a beautiful voice but her stage presence is wonderful for a ten year old child. She moves her body and gestures with the music where many young children with good voices just stand there and sing.
And she is singing in Italian. She just blew me away
The rest of the u-tubers where not worth the bother. I got a little tired of the judges making excuses for them, they were just not as good as those who auditioned in front of the TV camera.
I wonder if acts that look good on u-tube don't translate well to the TV screen.
I remember reading when Julie Andrews first became known in the US that she had something like a 10 octave range when she was a kid of 8.
