Well, the acts that we wanted made it thru! That magician was utterly FANTASTIC (one that borrowed Piers sport coat). We know think/know that Alice (singer) definitely has competition now! She's good/great, but Vegas visitors would rather see "electricity", "fire" or tiger appear than Alice, the young sisters and some of the other acts that have made it to the Semi-Finals.

I had recorded the show and played the magician's spot back several times. Where did that tiger come from? Amazing. The only drawback I can see is that all his acts have involved disappearing larege things and appearing larger things. I would like to see him do something a bit different.

I don't think Alice will win but I sure hope she gets a recording contract. I would by her album.

The magician told Nick Cannon that he dedicated that tiger act to Siegfrid & Roy. It was quite the act as is the fire/flame guy, the "gravity" dudes and the "electricity" dudes. The rest of the acts are basically so-so. Alice should get a recording contract, but her age could definitely get in the way of that.

America's Got Talent sure didn't have much talent last night with most of the u-tube contestants. I had to agree with Piersy boy about these acts with the exception of the 10 year old girl at the end. She was great.

That young girl was the best performance of the season in my opinion. What a shock when she opened her mouth and began to sing. Holy Moly!

Oh come on! She was either lip-synching or she's a 29 year old midget.

Jackie Evancho has such a wonderful voice!!! I could not believe that a ten year old could sound like that. I felt so sorry for the guy with Pup.

She was astounding to be sure.
What's interesting is that there is video out there of her singing from when she was even younger (singing with brothers & sisters - and alone) - and it's apparent even those videos (7 years old etc) that was developing an astonishing voice. It looks to me like she'd already become a local news item even before last night's show - singing the national anthem at ball games etc. Clearly, she's on her way to becoming a major star.

So that was really her voice? They ought to change the saying then... "It's over when the little girl sings".

Oh yeah, that's really her voice (as hard to believe as it is).
Apparently she was already starting to get a lot of "buzz" about her and an increasing number of appearances (mostly local to Pittsburgh (including singing the National Anthem for home game of the Pirates) but starting to go national). It sounds like she'd scheduled to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City (the youngest female vocal soloist ever to have performed there).
