It sure looked like Kono's farewell this week. I can't stand that swat captain guy, and McGarrett's gf is annoying. I'm about done with this show, just doesn't hold my interest any longer.
What I've read online (if you can believe it) is that Grace Park was pregnant. She needed to be closer to her family in Vancouver, so the scenes with Kono and Adam were actually filmed in Vancouver instead of Hawaii.
After last night's episode I have one minor problem with Katherine. Actually moreso with Michelle Borth herself than the character. While she is stunningly beautiful she is awfully pasty white for someone who has been stationed in and living in Hawaii for years and who we have seen hanging out at the beach in the past.

Lots of sunscreen? There are a lot of pale-ish people in Hawaii. Not everyone hangs out at the beach all the time. And sunscreen is a really big deal, you can get burned easily even when it's cloudy.
I loved Carol Burnett. She's just an amazing woman of so many talents. But she sure doesn't look like an Aunt Deb.

I actually like her pale complexion. Compared to people who obviously have a regular appointment at the tanning bed or get spray tans. Not everyone can get a tan from being outside...my skin no longer tans, it just burns, even with lots of sunscreen. Would you rather her be pasty white or red? At least her skin looks healthy!

I think she is gorgeous but I thought it seemed odd that someone who spent all that time in Hawaii would have no color.

I noticed her pencil-thin eyebrows more than her pale complexion.
