Why did you create a thread about Popeye's opening in Tyler? Big woop. As much civic pride as you have and as much talking you do about how "urban and progressive" Tyler is, you sure do know how to make us look like a bunch of simpletons.

I remember that toy gun incident. And you are correct, the Dominoes Pizza on Gentry used to be Popeye's.

That's great that North Tyler will have even more options for fried chicken /eyeroll!

Also, White Castle WOULD in fact be a hit here. It is not the size of a White Castle that matters, it is in fact, how many one consumes at a time. There is a reason that 1 small White Castle was originally sold for a nickel. They want you to buy more than 1 at a time.

Besides that, the reason the White Castle Corporation would not bring a restaurant to Texas, or any other southern state is because if doing so, they would need to build a distribution center and to build a distribution center for the south, they would need hundreds of White Castle's to be built all at once to warrant the cost of building, manning, and maintaining a distribution center. This is from the C.E.O. of White Castle btw, not my own opinion.
