Anyone know if Heartland Ham has or will reopen and where? The remodel job on the shopping center at Amherst and S. Broadway seems to have gone on an awfully long time and I know some previous occupants had to move to other locations. Too bad if Heartland Ham lost their business.

Apparently they have not reopened anywhere else. Tried to call the old number. I used to eat there often but not in the last few years, I'm not sure why, the food was still very good. I would like to see them reopen, would try them again.

That's too bad. It seemed they had a good lunch business. I don't know if they were open in the evenings or not. I suppose the new owners of that shopping center have spent a ton of money but, just my opinion, I don't like what they have done with it. Plus they lost a lot of the tenants that had been there a long time.

Its a company out of Fort Worth that bought it & is renovating it. Not local.
