Ok my name is leon, I bought a house on a lake about three years ago. We just got done doing some remodeling our house we are on a pier and beam foundation. I was getting a lot of water under the house. but I have fixed that problem for the most part. now the house inside had carpet we took it out and put laminate flooring in. I am have a mildew problem under my house on the ground and on my subfloor. I am having trouble finding information on how to vent when to vent ect. I am planning on a spray foam insulation company to spray under the entire house to seal from any moister to come up through the floor but I still want to ventilate under house to keep moisture ect out from under the house and info on how to get rid of mildew that is there now. b4 I get the foam sprayed on. I am in east Texas and live on a lake. I know the moisture is worse b/c I have laminate flooring now the house was built in 85 and when I ought it there was no signs of mildew plus at night we was keeping inside temp at 69.
