Tyler Morning Telegraph - Business

Actually Tyler officials have "played" this down. This actually really hurt Tyler's job market. No, the service jobs do not provide the same economic impact as these higher paying job diddo. The Goodyear Plant closing costs well over 1,000 jobs directly. I saw a report of this closing on Channel 4 in Dallas, it "made" there main local news shows. Also, Carrier had about 1,000 good paying jobs. Trane has moved hundreds of jobs to Mexico, and a plant in Louisiana.

A study showed that with an increase of 1,000 major paying jobs to an area, the "ripple" effect jobs totaled nearly the same 1,000 amount therefore, the closing of these companies, and Tyler has had others as well, has cost the area thousands of jobs. No the area really hasn't recovered. Yes, the medical has helped.

What is the "best" or better location for Italian in Tyler. Have you tried the new Aspen grill?

yes rich i misspelled sorry.

I don't really know, usually it's very hard to find an authentic Italian restaurant. I have read the menu e no one convinced me to try them. Usually we eat Italian at home and we try other stuff when we go out.
I can say that the best and most close to the Italian one pizza crust it is the one at Villaggio del vino, but the mozzarella i think it was the worst in my life. If I can have the stuff on top of Roast kitchen with the villaggio del vino crust it will be perfect.

We haven't try Aspen grill yes, but I thought that is more an American grill...

Mario's had a perfect American Italian menu. With the passing of the years American Italian culture and Italian culture (and also the food) became quite different: something reamained close to the traditional, but especially in food culture they became quite different.

For example alfredo sauce it's not an Italian thing, I can say that no one know it and eat it in Italy. We make parmigiana only with eggplant like fundamental ingredient, no chicken, and we don't ever eat chicken with pasta... ever !!! Also we eat spaghetti, we eat meatballs but we don't eat spaghetti&meatballs together. We don't eat spaghetti alla bolognese. We don't eat so much garlic or marinara sauce (we eat it but not putting everywhere ). Italian soda are not Italian, like are not the Italian wedding cake or the Italian dressing...

This are just same few examples of dish and food that are not in the Italian food culture and traditions but that you can always find in an Italian restaurant...

Thanks for explaining, my best friend is German, fairly recently in America, meaning Tyler, never lived anywhere else in America before Tyler. I was very excited to take him to little Italy, which I like best, and he said, it's not very Italian, he traveled all over Europe. I asked and the owners are from Macedonia, lol.

But I still like it !!
