Tyler does have a Popeyes - in fact it has two. No Joe's Crab Shack yet. There has been a lot of scuttlebutt over the years about Joe's Crab Shack - rumors that it was "coming," but nothing yet. I could be wrong about this, but my impression was that at one time it was slated to move to where Old Chicago Pizza was just built but obviously that didn't turn out.
Maybe they haven't moved here because we have several seafood restaurants here already:

We are getting La Madeleine's shortly and I'm excited about that. That is a unique restaurant and nothing else in Tyler offers that sort of menu so I hope it does as well here as it does in other locations.
