houses in Tyler
One of our friends is moving to Tyler soon. So I was interested in the pics. He and his wife have bought house in "tha azalea district" whatever that was. It was a former bed and breakfast they said. I just wondered if any of these houses would be anything similar. Adorable houses btw.

Tyler has public trans.

For air travel we have the brand new Tyler Pound's Regional Airport which opened all new terminals several years ago & was voted airport of the year in 2007. It has several daily flights to Dallas via American Eagle & Houston via Continental.

Nit Bataan Thai restaurant is no longer occupying this space. The owners opened up a small Asian market on the westside of town. Jake's has been remodeled adding a swanky rooftop deck/lounge.

The Smith County Courthouse got a face treatment recently with a complete cleaning of the exterior walls & new green tinted energy efficient windows installed. This project was paid for with the cities half cent sales tax.

What caused the fire is still undetermined, but they do know it started in the basement of a lawyers office.
As of yet, nothing has been confirmed to be built in its place, but there have been some ideas tossed around.

There are more tall buildings than there are in these pictures. I know you were just in downtown area only what it seems like.
