I was wondering, are there any homes in Puerto Rico where natural gas service is available? I am currently visiting my grandparents, and it seems that every home I have been to uses propane for gas stoves and ovens, and either electric or solar water heaters.

I know there is a proposed natural gas line that NIMBYs are trying to block, which could perhaps bring natural gas service to homes in Puerto Rico. However, is there anywhere in Puerto Rico with residential natural gas service? I am staying in Aguadilla, however, perhaps there could be some homes in San Juan that have natural gas service. Natural gas costs less than electricity or propane.

No! there is none,Why would or should we pay for a gas pipe when we have no gas? All fossil fuels are imported any way. So you are saying we need a gas pipeline to pipe in gas that we have to import? If we had a source of natural gas then yes! build it, But since we dont . Why spend money for nothing.
