Hello! I recently graduated from UNC's pharmacy school in January. I was recently offered a job by a Walgreens in Ponce, Puerto Rico. First off, how is the Puerto Rican attitude toward a foreigner? I am from the Cayman Islands and my father is black and my mother is Caucasian. I went to UNC for my undergraduate, graduated in 3 years, and went to pharm school for 2 years. I am fluent in Spanish, as I actually paid attention in Spanish class. Also, where are some prospective areas for me to live? I will be making about $8,600 a month. Also, how is the social scene in PR as a whole? I am 23 and single. Will I be OK as an expatriate? Most of the Puerto Rican women I have seen are really sexy. Any input will help. Thanks!

Someone similar to your thread wrote in the NYC one. Very, very similar, the only difference was he was an attorney........just out of school.......offered a job in a top NYC firm, also 23, and looking for the social scene of NYC, making $300.000 per year!

Honestly, I don't know who that is. I'll look him up when I get the chance.
