Hello there! I'm a new member trying to pick between two good schools, but I don't know which one is better. Much of the information I found online really doesn't provide anything good. Is Cupeyville good? What about Wesleyan academy? How different are them and which can be considered better?
I've attended the Wesleyan Church and have visited the school, having met many of the teachers there. It is an excellent school.
Cupeyville, I know less about, however, I do know it is considered also a reputable school.
The best way to know which is better is taking a tour of both and asking as many questions as necessary. Look to see how the schools are maintained. Are they clean? What extracurricular activities are there? Also, what is the lunch room like and how much is lunch? Take a look at the books and compare them with other reputable schools to see if the curriculum is on track and challenging.
Some poor private schools and public schools in Puerto Rico are still without air conditioning. So, the wealthier private schools tend to make certain standards are met similar to that in the US. Let us know how things go for you. Schools are usually closed most of June and will not reopen until August.
