Does anyone know about how much a 3- bedroom house in a good section of Rincon, closer to the Ocean, will cost? Please, feel free to give me as much information as you can.

Thank you,

Two of your best info sources will be www.vrbo.com and www.homeaway.com. If your spanish is good you can also use www.clasificadospr.com but I think you'll find more listings with the first two.

Sasie, are you looking to purchase Real Estate or are you looking for a vacation rental?

Thank you,
Be aware that, first due to the hurricane in September 2017, and later due to extreme high waves in March 2018, there has been a lot of damage on properties near beaches in Puerto Rico. I strongly recommend that you personally visit and evaluate the area where you are interested to invest in real estate in Puerto Rico before making any moves.

BOTH: A vacation rental first.....in a safe environment. Thank you, M/M. But it depends on many factors, after that.

i looked last year for 6 people. your choices will be house or a condo apartment. house on the beach is easily 2x or 3x times more than a condo. as you go up the hill its get cheaper. when we looked we didnt consider the neighborhood north of corcega. we ended up in a condo near almendros. when you look at condos also check to see if they are beach front. not all are. some can be across the street. close, but not the same. if you do a condo, the weekends will be when everyone goes to their rincon condo so it'll get wilder for a day or two and then monday - thursday it'll be a ghost town.

Thanks, Sasie...things are moving along slowly, I'm blessed with family in PR who even though their own places sustained considerable damage, were able to help us out.

Many people sustained more more damage then me, and these places are their primary residences...my place is just a modest second home.

The people who come on this site and say nasty things about PR and Puerto Ricans should see first hand how familia and friends come together in a time of disaster and adversity.
