Default Driving in St. Thomas

I will be in St. Thomas next month for work. I'll only be there for two days. Since I don't want to look like an idiot tourist, is it better to rely on public transportation, as opposed to trying to figure out how to drive on the left? Is public transportation easily accessible? I'm not familiar with the area at all, but I'll basically be going from my hotel (don't have one lined up yet) to the Sky Ride area.

Thanks for any tips.

For only a two day working stay I would stick with taxis and if you haven't yet picked a place to stay I'd suggest taking a look at Crystal Palace which is a lovely B&B above town. The owner, Ron, is a delightful host and will take good care of you! The Crystal Palace - Bed and Breakfast in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands

The traffic in the area of the skyride gets very congested but staying at Ron's place will be easier than, for instance, staying at one of the larger hotels or resorts further out. When traveling to and fro you'll be going against the commuter traffic, making for a much less time-consuming drive.

Hope this helps!
