Please help, I really need some answers (extension, file, receive)

HI, I filed my unemployment claim in California February of 2010. I started receiving my benefits in March of 2010. The problem is my balance today June 2010 is at $943.00 and my claim is set to expire February 19, 2011. Is this the last check I will receive or do I need to file for an extension or will EDD file an extension for me automacially?

I'm in the same position as you (except that my claim expires Feb 05). As it stands now, we're s-it outta luck when our 26 weeks are up. No extensions unless Congress comes through with another EB bill. I actually think they will eventually give us an extension (those of us under 99 weeks at least), but it's just a matter of when. So there may be a long lapse between your checks.
