If he really meant what he said, and he hasn't already signaled his vote ( the math suggests he hasn't) then I'm very hopeful he could help us out.
Any news on which way Voinovich (sp?) is leaning towards?

According to this, Reid has Snowe and Collins confirmed, yet he still needs TWO republicans in addition? I thought we were one short?

Voinovich is one being targeted... wtf is going on here?

Well, Reid better play ball. If he wants to pass this he has to cut the amount that it costs.

At least he pointed out what the real issue was.

It's funny (not really, because we're the ones suffering) how Reid has been pointing the finger at the Republicans, yet in reality, he is the one who is stalling anything from getting done.

so what does Reid need to do to get more GOP votes? Slim the deficit by how much?

atleast offset it by half which if they opened up the stimulus funds for spending should be a no brainer. They need to stop playing games and meet half way

This...a million times this. It's all a game and we're the game pieces. They need to at least find some middle ground though.

This was actually a smart move by Voinovich, since everyone is looking to him, he's got the spotlight.

And he's pointing out what's really going on. He's turning it back on Reid, not letting the republicans be blamed for not caring.

All the blogs say Ried is lobbying Voinovich.... well, I thought when you tried to get someone to vote your way you sweetened the deal to get them to vote. Maybe Reid forgot to get a vote you have to provide incentive.
