My benefit year expired on 06/13/10 but I have only been collecting unemployment since 02/10. My new unemployment amount has been determined but my type of claim is transitional...What does this mean (This is my first run in with unemployment)..Then today I received this letter in the mail:
I received a letter from unemployment that says
The following determination has been made in connection with your claim for unemployment insurance benefits:
The claimant cannot be held ineligible for benefits under Section 603 (which is refusal to work) of the Illinois Unemployment Insurance ACt since after investigation it was determined that the correct issue raised was Section VOLUNTARY LEAVING of the act. A determination will be rendered under this section and a copy will be forwarded.
I received this for the job I had prior to the job I am collecting unemployment on. With this previous job I was denied unemployment but then I got a seasonal job, was laid off and have been collecting unemployment on the seasonal job. Why would I get this letter for the job I had before the one I am collecting unemployment under? Will I lose my benefits?
