Saw an ad today for a new NBC fall sitcom called "Outsourced" about an American guy who goes to India to run a call center.

In the ad they show Indians pretending to do American accents to fool the callers.

I find that to be in poor taste considering the economic climate of the country right now.

What are your thoughts?

Unfortunately, it's the truth. I say go for it. How is the truth in poor taste?

I think if someone tunes into a sitcom they would want a laugh. From what I saw from the ad it was mocking the situation and also insulting to Americans.

One of the Indians was doing his version of a southern accent, as if to say we can fool those stupid Americans by pretending to be one.

I would rather see NBC or other networks profile real people who are out of work, instead of mocking the situation.

Not every situation in life should be used for amusement.

Maybe it will rile people up enough to organize and do something.

IT seams that the country has terned into train that every time it comes upon an unemployed stop the engineer just puts on his shades, slams the throttle forward to max, and then looks in the rear of his train to make shore all his employed passengers didn't notice.

i think it's harmless, and heck maybe it'll wake people's eyes up to the fact that the government has been whored out to the corporate fat cats and they will do nothing to stop them from outsourcing every possible job unless we act.
