Default Reemployment and Eligibility Assessment Appointment Notice/Interview

Hello,

I live in CA and am 3/4 through Tier 2 and got a notice from EDD for a Reemployment and Eligibility Assessment Interview. I have to fill out a questionnaire and bring in a job search log for the past 2 weeks.

Just wondering if anyone else has been through this, if so any details about what happens at the interview would be appreciated.

I have. I had to do it as soon as I filed for my first claim. It's no big deal. It's actually just a group info session. You'll be sitting in a room with a bunch of other people and someone from EDD will give you a brief lowdown about the WIA program. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks, hopefully mine will be something similar, just not sure since I am not a new claimant. But guess it doesn't do any good to sweat it!

I know someone else who went through it too, and it was later into his claim as well. I believe people are randomly selected.
