I will be starting my Tier 2 benefits here in New Jersey. I have been claiming since my Tier 1 ran out in the end of may/beginning of June. Nothing deposited yet. Went down to the UE Office in Perth Amboy, the guy became very smug with me and didn't have an answer.

At least you can get through. I tried calling and I keep getting a busy signal.

What did they tell you?

I'm in GA also and have not received my back payments either. I called the UI customer service line and waited over 45 minutes for someone to tell me they don't know when I will receive my checks and gave little less than no effort to try to resolve the problem.

So then I contacted the local career center, and was told they are collecting names and social security numbers of people that have not received their checks and forwarding the information to their supervisor who will then log a work order for the problem. The representative said it could be a day or a couple of weeks for a response, which sucks beans ! It seems this is happening to quite a few people.

So, if you have not received your check yet, best thing to do will probably go visit your local career center and not keep waiting like customer service is telling people to do. Hope this helps.
