OK, thanks. If I reopen a claim will I have to start all over including phone interview? I am on hold now with the Sacramento number and keep dialing 0 to continue to wait for an operator.

No, reopening an existing claim is NOT the same as opening a new claim. You've done the interview. Now you want CA to reactivate the claim.

Wait until you talk to someone to get that claim reopened before doing anything with the claim forms. Ask them.

Gotcha. Calling a million times and no luck yet, but at least I am continually pressing 0 to wait for the next rep. Then it hangs up and I start all over.

The state is determining whether there as misconduct contected with your dismissal. Personally, I think you'll be ok. Handle cash often enough is eventually going to result in a loss. It's a cost of doing business, and no one is perfect.
