Does the new extension include extension of state EB programs as well?
I would be surprised if Dems didn't force a Tier V into the negotiations. Since both sides knew they'd have to give in, especially with Obama threatening to veto anything that doesn't include help for the unemployed, it seems like it would be an opportunistic time to toss in a few extra weeks for the 99ers. Because quite frankly, forget about a Tier V once the new Congress takes their seats.
Wouldnt an extension of cut off dates include a reinstatement of EB for those states such as FL that meet the unemployment percentage req and are federally funded??? I keep asking this and dont appear to understand anyone's answer because I still have the same Q. I am a few weeks into my EB in FL, I would have had 20 weeks had it not been cut off due to an end of federal funding for it Dec 4th. If congress passes this extension, wouldnt that extend the EB as well ? Please? anyone? lol
and on this note, would Tier V be for those who have exhausted their EB, those who just finished Tier IV, or those who are currently on EB?
Logically as the Tiers are FEDERAL EUC payments and STATE EB cannot be paid until you have exhausted all federal EUC Tiers available, it would be ALL in your post.

Provided, EB is included with these negotiations. More info here:
