I recently filed for Illinois unemployment and I received a letter saying I was denied because I didn't make enough money....which I knew was a mistake. Then I got a phone call the following day saying that they had the wrong SS number and I needed to bring it to make a copy at the local office. I brought it in and they copied it and sent me on my way. My question is whether or not I still should file an appeal? I was not told to file an appeal and I figured it was because of the mixup....I'm so confused! This is my first time ever filing for unemployment and I would appreciate any advice!
Thanks!
Sorry, I did the math wrong.....my unemployment did drop by $50 total for two weeks which does account for the FAC loss. So sorry!
