Default Colorado Pending Approval claim status?

I just checked my claim status online today and it says "Pending Approval" and under the issue section it says "Requalification Review". I was just switched over to tier 3 and when I called a couple of weeks ago, everything was fine. I was just online checking today to make sure I get my deposit for next week and saw this! Tried calling this afternoon but couldn't get through.

I am just wondering what the pending approval means. I have seen pending review when I have had an issue, but not pending approval. I also did the requalification review back in October...do they do a requalification review when you switch between the tiers? Ugh.

Expect this to happen quarterly until your EUC benefits are exhausted. Our state website said under federal law the state was required to conduct a quarterly review of eligibility for those collecting under the EUC legislation and benefits might be delayed. Nothing to worry about.

There usually isn't a delay. If you have no earnings I wouldn't worry about it.

Default Colorado Tier 4 Payments

Hello out there

Wondering if anyone has received their new Tier 4 benefits since February 13 of this year (2011)?

I have renewed my claim requests since being informed I qualified once again for an additional 6 weeks. Though my last Tier was paid out in September, 2010.

It has now been 6 weeks since I first & subsequently filed claims-of-payment-request for the new Tier 4 without so much as a peep. As posted previously, I continue to see a "pending approval" notice and was wondering if anyone has had any success with either getting through to customer service for an explanation or an answer to the delay.

Thank you!

I also just renewed my claim for tier 4 benefits last week. Seems like they updated everything, but when I went online to check today to make sure everything was okay and that I could file for payment on Sunday...it says "pending approval" and then "requalification review". So, I am currently on hold trying to get through to see what is going on yet again. I hope there is nothing wrong as I NEED this money next week.

To Cyn5: make sure you file CUBLine every other Sunday as required. According to your statement about renewing your claim recently, please be mindful it may take up to six weeks (4-6). Actually it took me 7.5 weeks before I was paid the entire 6-week amount, though I continued to file through CUBline every other Sunday morning! Patience and Faith paid dividends!

I just started filing (last Sunday) on my Tier 4 (filing from outside of Colorado). Since nothing has showed up on my CAP card yet, I called the "800" number a minute ago to inquire about payment and the recording said "no payment made due to still processing of claim". So, I'll just have to sit back, wait and keep filing. And, same as for the last four times, unable to get ahold of a "live" person.......only the recording that I just mentioned. Wife and I would love to have the money for my first 2-week filing right now, but that hasn't happened yet.

Ariadne22 explained this in post #2 above.
