Default Question about tier 1 ending in FL.

I just stumbed on this web site after looking for a for some answers. My unemployment tier 1 is ending in a couple weeks from everything i have been reading i am assuming i will be going into tier 2 but i am not sure, i did not even know that tier 1 existed until i got it.

I live in Florida as the tittle says and any information from someone smarter then me would be grateful.

thank you

If you received 26 weeks' state benefits, you should be eligible for all the tiers and EB.

Here is everything you need to know about Tiers and EB from the FL website:

Agency for Workforce Innovation - Unemployment Compensation Hot Topics

If you are finishing up Tier I, FL should transition you to Tier II shortly.

Your benefit year will be ending soon. You will need to contact FL at that time to recertify your claim. When that is done, you will either be eligible for a new claim (if you have worked while unemployed and have sufficient earnings), or FL will deny your application for a new claim and continue you on the extension tiers and possibly EB. EB is paid after your tier benefits have been exhausted.
