i just picked up my mail in the post office and got my eb info.....with job strip, etc (my mailman didn't mail mail today for some reason)...it tells me when to claim next and when to mail the yellow strip with jobs,..but i noticed that it didn't say the balance ..is this normal? under balance, it's just blank..is it the same on yours tuck (or anyone else who gets eb)?
i think you definitely mail it on fridays..they'll get it by next week..way before you claim...at least that's what it says....but maybe someone already on eb can verify that for me. i'm scanning mine each time i mail it just in case it gets lost in the mail to prove i sent it.
for those who are about to go on eb, here is a sample of what your job search strip should look like finished before you mail it..mistered was nice enough to give me an example and posted this in the past
for those that have sent in work search forms, should i just send it regular mail or should i play it safe and sent certified mail? I know it goes to a PO Box for the Department of Labor? Opinions
if it goes to a po box, i wouldn't send it certified..i think someone needs to sign for it..otherwise it won't be mailed..i don't see how that can be done if it's a po box. i could be wrong though..i know certified mail also sends a receipt that it's been mailed but i wouldn't risk it because of the signature thing. i mailed my job search strip today regular mail...i scanned the job search strip before and have it saved on my computer just in case they say they didn't get it
Has anyone ever had trouble claiming their first 2 weeks on EB? Like not being able to claim online or having to talk to an agent. LOL. I know I know, how does it work? Does the the receipt of the work searches on LWD's end enable the system to let you claim?
