Can I do the one time withdrawl and the auto deposit all online?
I was under the impression that you already got your card but you're saying you got notice of having a card issued to you. If it's been more than a week, I would contact the EDD about it. Once you receive your card, you can then go to the debit card website and set up the auto fund transfers to your personal bank account.

Ya, sorry, just realized I wasn't clear. So I go to the website, set up a one time transfer and then set up an auto transfer thereafter? Will there be any kind of transfer fee?

Glad we got that issue cleared up.

What I did was set up the recurring transfer under Scheduled Transfer, then did the actual funds transfer under Transfer Funds (this was the step I left out initially which was why my money didn't transfer).

No fees of any kind. It will all be spelled out in the literature you receive with the card.

Hope this helps. Good luck to those of us in finding a job, which I'm sure is all of us.

Congratulations on getting your new debit card from the EDD.

In the debit card website, after you set up your recurring transfer, there should be a Transfer option in the left-hand side navigation bar. That's where you have to do the one-time transfer. If that's done successfully, your balance on the card will show $0.00 funds available and you should get an e-mail from Visa Prepaid Processing with the subject line "Funds Transfer Requested." Your EDD funds should show up in your personal bank account within 2 business days (in this case, by next Tuesday, 9/6/11 at the latest, since Monday is a holiday). Good luck and don't spend it all in one place.

I received mine, finally.

I went to the bank and withdrew money from a teller yesterday and checked my balance today. There's an error somewhere because it's showing that I only withdrew 1/3 of my balance. Hopefully this is one of those errors in my favor as I could use the extra cash.

I withdrew my money from the ATM yesterday with no problems. But first I tried a foreign ATM, and it wanted a $3.00 fee, so I declined and went to a BofA ATM.

Im bumping this thread because I read through the whole thing and it seems like things have gotten worse in just 3 months? Is anyone else having to wait 10 days to get funds on their card? I have only received 1 payment ever and have been registered with EDD for a month. And they just sent me one claim's worth of funds! I also have been logging into Web-Cert and it says I dont have claim forms to fill out at this time. I know California blows in general so it's all very unsurprising but I need my money so I can GTFO of this state!
