Hi, I am looking through my paperwork regarding my claim and I thought I remembered something about registering on CalJobs for job searches. I assumed I had to register within 21 days. Now, looking through the stuff I have, I read it again and it says "you may be required to register..."

Where exactly does it say if I am required to register or not? Who is actually required to register for their claim vs. not required?

Thank you.

Yes, you are required to register with Caljobs to recieve benefits. I didnt and was required to attend a course on resume writing.
On the plus side the job listings are a valuable source of listings to put on your EDD form every two weeks.

You simply go to the CALJOBS website and register. Try to pull up job listings every week to show you are looking for work.
Good luck!

You simply go to the CalJobs website and follow the directions. It's not hard at all. Here's the website link: California Job Service:: CalJOBS:: Employment Resource

Good luck!

I put my resume on caljobs and am getting called in for a Personalized Job Search Assistance Session anyway. What do they even do during this? How long does it go? It says it starts at 10 am.

When and will there be a rescheduled telephone interview if the initial one was missed?

I've posted my resume on Caljobs but have seen zero view from employers. Please advice if I have done something incorrectly. Thanks, MH
