Hi everyone

Last week I received a claim form and on the first week it had the pay period the following week it had xxx on it. I sent it and my next check should be coming on the 19th for the last amount of $225. When I had my phone interview they stated I will be approved automatically for my first unemployment extension.

But today I read this article Unemployment benefits extension: What's at stake - Yahoo! Finance (http://finance.yahoo.com/news/unemployment-benefits-extension-whats-stake-101600053.html - broken link) and they are stating that the extensions can stop in January, do I fall into this bracket??? Please let me know I'm very worried I have a car payment bills etc.

You are transitioning from state benefits to Tier and will receive all the benefits of Tier 1 (maximum 20 wks). For any further benefits, you (and everyone else) need a Congressional extension.

Yes I'm on tier 2 and my UE will run out without the congressional extension. I've had 1 interview in 15 months.
