It could be. However, we've seen this before. You tell the UI people that you were "laid off" when you were really fired. IL pays you for a week, and then during that time the IL people get the real story from the employer, and there is more than just a "lay off," and your benefits get shut off. So don't count your chickens.
And no i was approved my job gave me a letter signed by hr management stating i did nothing wrong or no misconduct has been committed signed also by me so that got me approved im just now seeing first payment online though but its not on my card why?
Yes. First week in most states these days is an unpaid waiting week, so the first biweekly claim pays only the second week. Thereafter, you should be receiving two weeks' benefits per claim period.
i see first payment online but not my card when will it be on my card?
I reopened a claim , i was getting benefits then stopped filing after i got a temporary job the job only lasted 2 months so i re filed for unemployment again and they opened up my original claim, will i still having a waiting week or will my deposit pick up for 2weeks payment ?
Hi i reopened a claim with unemployment because i was temporarily employed but was hospitalized (have papers to back this up) so i missed a day of work and assignment was ended because i was still on probation because the job let me go but not the temp agency, when i file there was no selection for being let go of an assignment but not temp agency so i selected layed off i got a letter for phone interview about this stating temp agency said i was discharged i have not had interview yet but i reached out to agency recruiter stated that i am still employed with agency i was just discharged from assignment so will i be approved for unemployment are they conducting an interview to see if agency let me go or job because letter states agency???? Help so confused
Don't know. It doesn't matter that you're not working for the client or the agency. The fact is that you are out of work.
Being in the hospital raises able and available issues.
Missing work raises issues whether you followed call off procedures to the letter.
Temp agency involves issues of whether you followed the agency procedures for requesting a new assignment when the current one ended.
You've got a lot of things to deal with.
