I'm just curious to know how many of you are using Social Media to find work?
I've read threads in which people are saying they've been unemployed for 2 or even 4 years which it a very long time. My life would STOP if I was UE for such a long period of time.
Using Linkedin does help. I got an interview after posting on there that I was looking for a job. She told me to email my resume to a certain person who called me. I didn't get the job, but it does help.
During my "sabbatical" as I like to reference it...I developed my connections on LinkedIn. I also kept myself sane by responding in forums related to my job area. Glad I did...it helped me make a connection that led to my being hired.
