Funny how accessible the online site is after 3pm today but of course you get a message stating that it's after hours and to apply again tomorrow. Does the link work or doesn't it?

Sunday is not a business day. No payments are made on Sunday. So, NJ paid you today based on your Sunday claim.

If it shows paid does that mean its already in the process of direct deposit?

Default Claims Examiner Interview

Hello.

I have a claims examiner interview tomorrow morning. Does anyone know what kind of determinations the Examiner will make? I am accused of drinking on the job but there is no physical proof of alcohol consumption nor a breathalyser on record. In fact had I have not drank in weeks.

Default Just want some straight answers....

Thus, the last payment when exhausting any one of the benefit levels can be an odd amount.

Tier IV in NJ pays six weeks, at which point you will transition to EB until June 9, when NJ is projected to trigger off.
This is getting old. For one, The $220 I was paid was the amount of my last week of Tier III - NOT a separate amount paid for that week as quoted above, I WORKED FULL TIME!!! - I DID NOT apparently work part-time that resulted in the odd final payment. I will say this AGAIN - The first 26 weeks, and Tiers I and II were ALL $276 including the last week of each. I spoke to different reps several times and NO ONE seems to have an answer- I have been told it is wrong, they will look into it, I will get the amount owed next deposit, on and on with no results. No reason has been given to me, just reactions such as "oh, this is strange, or hmmm, this is wrong" etc.
Now, to the next quote - So, you say Tier IV in NJ pays six weeks....For others most likely, but me, Queen of Murphy's law.... Bull!
Here is my benefit and payout below, I get only 5 weeks, with the 5th payment partial AGAIN for $220 - as far as I am concerned, I am only getting 4 and 2/3rds weeks of pay. I am entitled to the amount short from Tier III's last payment and the upcoming last Tier iV payment.
TIER IV - Total benefit amount - $1,324

Week 1 - 4/1 - $276 - Balance - $1,048
Week 2 - 4/8 - $276 - Balance - $ 772
Week 3 - 4/15 $276 - Balance - $ 496 (Today)
Week 4 - 4/22 $276 - Balance - $ 220
Week 5 - 4/29 $220 - Balance - $ 0

WHERE IS WEEK 6???

PLEASE TRY TO HAVE SOME PATIENCE WITH ME HERE, I REALLY NEED TO EXPLAIN WHY I AM MAKING A BIG DEAL ABOUT MY PAYMENTS AND DO NEED TO VENT.

My claim is a very straight up, simple full time, 20 weeks, nothing more, nothing less and I have earned this and tired of the run around and misinformation. I am going to look into an appeal and get this straightened out I hope. I never stopped looking for work during the 20 weeks of my job. Since they were going out of business, it afforded my time to keep searching for work and have been like crazy since starting unemployment. I am 60 years old, on disability and I refuse to hang around doing nothing all day and waiting to succomb to my illnesses and die. I love to work and need to so i can keep a roof over my head. I am only one in my household. Thanks to my son who is helping me with part of the rent, but now he is having a difficult time keeping his small shop from closing down. ( He started it one year ago and understandable the first 2 years are tough). I get an INSULTiNG pile of peanuts in the amount of $475 a month from Social Security Disability. It goes up to five hundred and something if I work. Still insulting. Reason it went down is due to unemployment. Since it is a government issued payment, I have too much money according to guidelines. I can make a lot more money working and get more on Social Security and Medicaid too. Lost Medicaid due to unemployment payments too. I don't have enough to pay co pays with Medicare only. I have so much medical debts since getting unemployment, one example - I need lab work regularly due to certain medications i have to take for life. I am running out of labs that will do the testing because of what I owe. For example the usual blood panels at Lab Corp copay for me is over $450. They will not serve me till that is paid in full. So, I am running out of Labs to use. The whole system sucks. It is what it is I guess.
BUT, I am NOT going to let my benefits problem slide. It is extremely difficult for an ill woman of 60 years of age, and oh fat too, to land a job. Discrimination DOES exist, and difficult to prove , so, I just do my best and will not give up. By the way, I a blessed with looking younger than my age and fat or not, my appearance in dress, hair, nails, etc. is impeccable. Still, it hasn't done much good. I so desperately need every dollar I am eligible for because again, I earned it and deserve it. I am spending the equivalent of full time work sitting at my computer day and night looking for jobs, researching grants, studying free lessons online to improve internet/web skills, trying to learn how to start my own home business, etc. etc. So, bottom line, if anyone would like to respond or give me some insight to my payment situation (facts will help,) thank you ahead of time. And one more thing, thank you all that took the time to read this. As I warned earlier I needed to vent desperately!
