I filed on 6/6, did a payment request on 6/18, and my employer responded on 6/25 (the last day they could). So now both weeks in the initial payment request are marked online as "being reviewed" to see if I qualify for benefits. Assuming I do, how fast does TX handle direct deposit? My DD account is all set up and "live" on TWC. I am scheduled to file another payment request on Monday, and have all my ducks in a row for that one.

I'm just trying to get a little insight into the process. The people on the phone at TWC have been very pleasant, but their answers have been very scripted, unfortunately. They were also not able to share with me what my previous employer's response/reasoning was (doesn't that seem like the first question anyone would ask in this situation?), so I really have no insight as to what is going on.

Any feedback as to experience with TATs, information about the process not available on the TWC website, etc., is greatly appreciated!

If you were laid off, you're overdue for a payment. I suspect you were discharged, and my crystal ball sees an appeal in your future.
