This is the message

The system is presently unavailable.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please try again at a later time.

It's been down all day and since state offices are closed tomorrow I doubt it'll be fixed anytime soon.

I really wanted to file today since I'm worried about losing power during the storm - now it's just another thing to worry about.

It doesn't look good - and on the main site they encourage people to file early on Sunday (today). Keep trying once an hour though.

I just tried, I got past the first few screens this time until it said "technical difficulties try again later," so they must be working on it now. I will try again in a 1/2 hour.

On the hurricane notice it says: "We are experiencing technical difficulties with our web filing system for Unemployment Insurance. Please bear with us. You may try calling our call centers today, Sunday 10/28/2012."

In the interim, working on getting everything that isn't nailed down out of the yard and in the cellar.

What time is the system usually available until on Sundays?

Isn't it 3:00 PM?

registered to say that I just did it and it confirmed my payment is processing.

https://www10.state.nj.us/DOL_W247/D...7/Continue.jsp

you have to be VERY patient though, each page took at least 2 minutes to load. but be patient (and be quick when the pages do load) and you should be good.
