I received my first two Pennsylvania unemployment payments without trouble, however, I filed my most recent biweekly claim last Monday (10/29) and still have not received payment. I have tried calling every number and only get a busy signal. Any idea as to why I have not received payment? I did receive confirmation that my claim was received and accepted. My husband thinks it has to do with Sandy, but I don't think it would be delayed over a week because of that storm.

I live in Western PA. I filed my most recent biweekly claim last Sunday on November 4th and payment was deposited into my account today on Wednesday November 7th. That is the normal schedule and there has been no change or delay.

Is your UI payment directly deposited or are you being sent checks? I think there was a message posted on the PA website during Sandy about paper checks being delayed, but I don't see any information now.

You can check the status of your payments on the PA UI website at the link below:

I just checked online. It shows my last payment as being 10/16, which is correct. It does not say anything about the claim I filed on 10/29 that hasn't been paid. I called the automated number and it says I'm eligible to file another biweekly claim this Sunday. I just wish I could get ahold of someone to get an answer.

I am going through the same thing as Ashley, I recently just opened my claim on 11/27/16 and was to file my bi weekly claim in this past Sunday which was 12/11/16. I called everything went well, the automated system says it saved my answers, but I'm showing no signs of payment. I have not received anything rejecting me, so what exactly can be my hold up? I'm still showing no signs of payment and I'm due for payment on the 12/14/16. I tried calling and calling and it is getting me nowhere and I also receive the busy signal as well.

It takes no less than two weeks to process a clean lay off claim, and more time if you were fired or quit. You're jumping the gun.

My deposit is always in Wednesday morning first thing. It's not deposited yet. Never had this happen before and I have confirmation of my bi-weekly claim from this past Sunday.

Please see the post I just made under this thread - maybe you have an answer to ease me?

I don't. If you've been getting payments like clock work, and then they don't come in, I don't know what to tell you. Could be that it's a day late sometimes, or it could be that you've been disqualified for some reason and haven't received the letter yet.

Or you exhausted your benefits. A day late can be the fault of unemployment, the payment processioning company, the federal reserve, your financial institution.....
