I hope someone can shed some light on this issue for me. I have been employed PT for 2 months and collecting partial UE in NJ. Took a PT job because I was having trouble find FT work which is what I had before my layoff.
I've reported every 2 weeks, what wages I've earned and was given the difference, today I tried to claim and got a message "Unable to Certify Benefits See instructions to Call in to claim" I'm concerned about what the issue is. I am returning to work FT next week but I haven't notified them because I'm not due to until it acutally happens.
I got this message at the one year mark but not sure why I would get it today?
In response to your DM. No clue. Could be a tier transition and NJ needs to revisit your employment history. NJ often experiences problems on the weekend. You will have to call. Could be any one of a number of things.
Thanks so much! I'm hoping thats all it is because I've been on partial for a 2 months and had money left in my claim that was good til beginning of July and I dont start my FT job till next week. Really need that last payment.
