I was laid off from full time work and was receiving unemployment. I started a part time job that caused me a large amount of stress that it turned into full on panic attacks/anxiety. I have a letter from my doctor regarding the diagnosis and leaving the job. I resigned from the part time job and stated it was for medical reasons. They accepted my resignation. I let unemployment know and they put my benefits on hold. I know I am capable of some work I just could not handle the environment there and haven't stopped looking for a full time job since then. I have a phone appointment with the claim examiner next week.

What should I be prepared for? Is there any chance of getting my unemployment back? Any advice on how to handle the phone call or what to expect?

You want to be too sick to do that job, but don't make yourself sound so sick that you can't do any job.

if you get denied, don't be late filing an appeal, and come back and type in the decision.
