I get so confused between Reid and Reed, both from the 2 states with the highest amount of UE!
Old guy - Reid, Nevada
Middle aged guy - Reed, Rhode Island

They tabled the Reed amendment to the UI bill; not the UI bill. Now they're talking about the UI bill and unfortunately it doesn't encouraging. Sen. Jack Reed is babbling on about nothing. If he and one other repub would vote for cloture we could move forward on this bill.

So at 3:47pm EDT they stopped talking about the UI extension bill. So it's back to back-room negotiating. Another wasted chance.

What they did was close the original bill. And now on Thursday they will start a new bill. But Reid already said the Republicans are causing problems already,

Conservative politicians are a mess. I don't know if they're trying to lead ignorance or let ignorance lead them.

I sent Ayotte an email. Massachusetts and Rhode Island already fully support extensions... so I turned to my neighbor to the north and inboxed Ayotte. She probably didn't even read it.
