She need to speak about the Unemployment benefits!!
How bizarre--Benghazi? Kind of irrelevant at the moment. In times of crisis, politicians do show their true colors don't they? She does not seem to get the Unemployment Extension issue pretty much means that a couple million people were basically all laid off at the end of December--do you think a memo has gone out to ignore it if you are against it?

Well one thing the repubs are serious about is trying to terminate the federal EUC program entirely by offering ridiculous amendments that stand no chance of passing a democrat-controlled senate. Like maybe another repeal-the-ACA thing. Which they're already tried - what is it? - 40-something times already and failed every time.

Senator Kelly Ayotte is a Tea Party Member under the Koch Brothers. She doesn't care at all. She need to be voted out when her term is up.

Senator Harry Reid ‏@SenatorReid 20m
On Thursday, we'll vote on a 3-month, paid-for extension to #RenewUI. I hope Republicans can finally say yes.

Does anyone know what the Reed amendment #2631 was? And what does it mean it was tabled? I copied the below from democrats.senate.gov

The Reed amendment #2631 to S.1845 was tabled 98-0.

Senator Reid then offered Reed amendment #2714 (3 month extension of unemployment insurance benefits paid for with pension smoothing/no UI for millionaires). Senator Reid also filed cloture on the Reed amendment and the underlying bill, S.1845, Emergency Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2014.

The motion to table is used to kill a motion without debate or a vote on the merits of the resolution
