it was such a long time ago i remember it being temporary- thats what they hired me on for- i was done with the assignment so i thought- the employer is saying that i quit-- after that 3 day job i received EUC until 06/2010 when i found a full time job -- now fast forward my current regular unemployment benefits exhausted 09/15/2013 - and i applied for EUC and the reviewer is just now calling asking for my explanation of events regarding that very old job in 2009. What do i say to the reviewer ? in the end if he sides with that employer let me guess not only will i not get my current euc on claim 2 but i will owe backpay-- is that what is going to happen at this point?

YES! that is exactly what I'm saying.

So you need to remember what happend. Was this three day job through a temp agency? If so, there's special rules for temp agencies on many states and CO might be one of them.

Was it truly a 3-day job, or did you just decide it wasn't for you? Did you call the temp agency after the assignment ended to tell them of your availability?

the company was not a temp agency they needed help for a temporary project and thats all it was - i guess i just tell the reviewer that- but if the employer said i quit, he will most likely believe them wont he?

The deputy might, but that doesn't mean that if you appeal that the ALJ will agree. The employer is going to have to prove that you quit with a letter of resignation or the credible testimony of a witness that took your verbal resignation.

As long as you say you were hired on a temporary basis and did exactly what you were supposed to do, and the job was over, then it's not he said/she said. In UI, a tie goes to the claimant.

Default ongoing issue update

okay so i provided last tuesday to the reviewer that the job i had for a few days in 2009 was temporary , and my claim status was still showing pending approval until today, it shows postponed now, and on the issues tab it used to have EUC as pending review and its no longer listed , it just disappeared

so 09/15/2013 i was postponed and in october it changed to pending approval and now 11/22/2013 it is back to postponed-- not sure what that is , am i denied? any insight would be great as i have to file on sunday and when i do it will be 10 WEEKS i have been waiting on EUC --- thank you
