I'm glad but sad that you can't see it through. It happens, but congrats on the new job. Just a shame it didn't start a week later.

You're right though. If you don't finish the hearing, then the original decision stands that you're denied. It pains me when someone has to give up because circumstances prevent them from seeing it through, but it does happen.

At a minimum, try to submit your subpoena request to the judge. Maybe in you're absence, the judge having read them can still work in your favor.

Because they didn't care whether you got UI, or you did such a good job hanging yourself out to dry on the UI application or appeal request that they didn't need to.
