this is a silly question but does a written appeal have to be hand written or can it be typed?

why does it say on the back of my other claim to reopen on April 16th ?

It can be typed, but many states require them to be signed so that part must be hand written.

Because "simple misconduct" is not a complete denial. NJ just makes you wait 8 weeks before it begins to pay. The theory is that out of desperation you already got a job in the 8 weeks, and it costs the UI fund nothing. It's a really long wait for most people.
