I applied for EDD second week of October. They sent my first claims to be filled out. When EDD received it, it state claim received but claim is pending. I had my scheduled phone interview Oct 26. They informed it would take 7-10 days. I just received noticed on Nov 1 that a noticed for me to check my InBox online. It state that my first was not paid due to “Waiting Period” Second was paid. It has not yet been 7-10 days since my interview but received Claim Payment. Does this mean I will be certified for benefits? I just received another Claim form to be filled out and mailed out yesterday. My question is...was approved I approved for benefits. Still waiting for Debit card, automated system said 3-5 days after payment issued. This is in California
If there is money on the debit card when you check the balance, that means you were approved, BUT ONLY if there is money on it. A zero balance on a debit card doesn't mean anything.
