Here's the deal...........I've been out of work since last November. I was in the middle of my Tier 2 extension when my annual enrollment for unemployment was up (you have to re-certify in Ga every year for unemployment). Out of the 13 weeks of Tier 2, I've only used up 6 and went in this past Monday to refile for unemployment.

My question is, I was told by the DOL worker that my Tier 2 claim would just pick up where it left off, but what I want to know is, has anyone else had this happen, where your year ended and you were in the middle of Tier 2 claims? How long did it take for it to kick back in and continue on with your payments?

At this point, no.

If Congress passes new legislation to extend unemployment benefits, then yes, you will be able to.
