File new claim if worked 1st 3 months 09?? Ar (extension)

Did i read wright i have to file new claim ? I will be in middle of tier 2 when my base year ends MAR 31st 2010 I worked first 3 months 2009= appx 4800.00 total, if so does anybody know what happens then? weekly clam goes down? able for extensions? ETC: Or not stay on extensions?

My though was that you had to have two consecutive quarters in base year
of 4500.+? my new base year would be Jan 2009??
