Hopefully you should be fine if the employer signed off on that, but like Ariadne said, employers can be shady in their practices to save from paying UI out. Do you have a savings to fall back on in case there is a suspension in your payments ? Are you destitute ?

if thats the case then my employer is lying because i have signed paperwork saying otherwise, correct? I hope thats not so, me and the owner of the company didnt get along to well. oh boy.

Then it could be the case that he/she fudged the truth as to why you left employment, causing an issue with payments. It seems to happen all the time. I would definitely call first thing tomorrow, especially if you are not financially well off right now

appreciate the help alot, i took down the tricks to getting hold of them and also the one stop address to my local edd office. Thank God I have a part time job still (4-5 days a month, but its something), so im not COMPLETELY out, im gonna call first thing tomorrow, i will post after and let you guys know, or if i have more questions, should i make my own thread? or continue here?

Well, this is most likely (hopefully) your issue. Claims reporting earnings and calculation of a partial benefit can take longer, as I told you.

If you're just giving an update, here is fine. If it becomes complicated - like employer is now citing misconduct - make another thread. The rep should be able to tell you if it's a processing issue, or an issue with the employer.

I file Sunday in nj and get it Tuesday and haven't received any payment cause of presidents day was Monday when can i expect my payment
