They just announced on CNN that the Jobs Bill passed the Senate and is now on it's way to the President. Isn't this the bill that had the UI extension to the end of the year?

No -- the bill that passed is a jobs creation bill (HR 2847), with no provision for unemployment extensions.

The bill with the EUC Tier extensions through year-end 2010 is The Tax Extenders Act (HR 4213) -- which is stuck in the House.

In fact, because of the delays with the House amendments to HR 4213, on Tuesday (March 16) Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee Sander Levin (D-Mich) introduced a separate temporary bill to extend the cut-off dates of the EUC Tiers and other unemployment benefits through May 5, 2010; the same measure would extend the cut-off date for the COBRA premium subsidy through April 30, 2010.
