How would tens of thousands of seperate folks collecting atmospheric data fail to notice the Man dumping controlling chemicals in our air and/or water? Are they all in the same conspiracy with the same government that just had a huge leak of classified documentation flood the public realm? The same government that perpetrated Iran-Contra? The same government that lost nuclear info to Soviet spies, giving them the bomb just a couple years after us?
Get real people! Our government can't keep a secret to save their lives...or yours. There is no way they could pull off a control scheme like the one chemtrail conspiracy theorists claim.
Besides, why would we need chemtrails when we have the warm, calming glow of our TV sets?
Just curious...the chemtrail thread has turned into a back-and-forth with a handful of people, but I'd like to get a larger scope of opinions on this. Feel free to elaborate if you wish, or if you're leary of getting "flamed" for your opinion, just vote and leave it at that.

You know what is scarier--not believing what is going on above their heads. Their is another thread going about this and with proof they ARE GOING ON but still we stick our heads in the sand.

Proof? What proof? The only proof resides in the minds of the conspiracy theorists...It belongs in the realm of alien abductions, bigfoot and Loch ness monster believers...(The tinfoil hat crowd)
nah I don't believe in those chemtrail stories.someone would have proved it by now.just a bunch of talk. boat wakes are what folks should be watching some of them just aint natural. I seen some down in the sea of cortez all sparkilee and glowing and stuff. somethings going on
Someone has already proven it .... the government has already admitted it, and private labs have already identified some of the constituent components, including barium salts and aluminum, among other more bazaar elements like desiccated red blood cells.
Furthermore, the delivery mechanism .. the powder contrail generator was patented in 1975:
The only thing that is unknown at this time is the purpose or purposes ... not their existence. Of course, the government denied their existence for so long ... many people have allowed those denials to become "their truth", in spite of the overt visual evidence right under your noses.
It's a particularly unique talent of the human being to believe what they hear over believing what they can see with their own eyes, which, according to this poll, apparently afflicts 60-75% .... how sad .... that many people willing to let someone else think for them rather than thinking for themselves.

oh please, some guy files a patent for some kind of generator to create contrails and only has a drawing. where i the real machine? what aircraft is it installed in? do you really understand what a contrail is? when burning a hydrocarbon fuel, you get carbon dioxide and water vapor. when you fly high enough, or when the air temperature is cold enough, the water vapor becomes a cloud formation. you see it every time you run your car when the outside temperature is below freezing, and the engine is cold or in the process of warming up.
what we have is some conspiracy types putting stuff out to make the gullible people think that the government or other nefarious individual or group is doing something to harm the people. the term contrail is actually a contraction of condensation trail. world war two bombers and fighters made them all the time when they went above a certain altitude when conditions were right. in fact that is how the german anti aircraft batteries would know that the bombers were coming, they would watch for the contrails.
