Yeah, I noticed that.......... I was merely going to ask that if they believed that the Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world, how come the world didn't end 500 years ago or 500 years before that and so on, guess they didn't realize its only of 500 year calendar and repeats itself......
I get a chuckle every time a see a rabid christian expressing paranoia about the end of the world based on a calendar created by people that practiced pagan religion.
Amazing isn't it, how they like to mix ancient pagan practices with their Christianity to try and serve their purpose......... Ohh, but that's right Christianity stole all the pagan rites and practices and incorporated it into their religion, no original thought there....
just wait until judgement day in 2012. you all will be begging for mercy.
You know the only people are gonna be begging for mercy in 2012 are people like you who will be whining and crying because the rapture didn't happen and the world didn't come to an end and you will have to continue on with your petty little life as it is. It's about time you faced reality and quit living in the fantasy world of your mythological religion..

its not a myth. It wasn't just the Mayans who believed something was going to happen in 2012 ad. BTW I don't believe in the rapture because it is not based on anything in the scriptures.

Newsflash, you know nothing about the Mayan calendar, do you know that the Mayan calendar is a 500 year circular calendar, it repeats itself every 500 years, so with that logic, the world should've ended 500 years ago and yet we're still here, the calendar is 2500 years old and it is about to end its fifth cycle and begin its sixth cycle, so by my calculations the world should've ended 4 times before and yet we're still here. Do you know what December 21 is? It's the winter solstice and it comes around every year on that date and if you know anything about agrarian culture you would know the significance of the winter solstice, but then again you don't think about that or bother to learn about any of that before making such statements.
So come December 22, 2012 I'll be here waiting for your reply as to why the world did not end..
