If you are a Christian or Jew, then yes you believe in demons (otherwise you don't even believe that the Bible/Torah is the divinely inspired word of God). Personally, yes, I do believe. I've had a couple of experiences, and even witnessed an exorcism where the possessed person performed feats that are physically impossible - truly scary stuff. The sheer power and palpable sense of evil surrounding these entities leads me to the conclusion that the demon label definitely fits.

This will probably be my last post here. I'm sorry you all believe stuff like this. It exists in novels and nowhere else.

The religions of the Near East and Middle East and India, I believe, had plenty of evil spirits and monsters in them. Put those together and scramble them with Judaism and Christianity and you get the legions of hell led by the devil himself! But I think this is all just mythology.

As I said in another thread today, I think that there are definitely spirits that are not ghosts (not dead humans), and sure, these spirits can behave badly. Those are the ones people call demons. But my guess is that they are just spirits behaving badly, for the same reason sometimes people behave badly. If you ask me what I think spirits are, I think they're life forms that are more evolved than we are, that possibly don't inhabit three dimensional space, and thus that we are unable to perceive.

Hi
very interesting.. someone of us ...is able to perceive them

This world is filled with demons, beasts, tortured souls and fallen angels. In a master and servant world we are taught to look down upon or ignore tortured souls or souls who have been possessed by evil spirits. That is flawed thinking and disrespectful to the spirit world.

You saying it don't make it so. What proof do you have? Photos of Orbs? Its a myth that has absolutely no proof. Alister Crowley was a narcissistic butt hole who like Charlie Manson had empty heads following him.

We should not imagine the devil as a evil entity, at last no one has ever seen it, we only have a common vision that is very influenced by religions

I do believe demons exist. I don't try to convince anyone else that they do - Everyone should make up their own minds concerning their own beliefs. I don't feel I should be asked to prove anything to anyone. Also I would never seek to belittle anyone for their beliefs. I see this as an attempt to shut people up who don't believe as you do. very close minded.

I am completely ordinary. I have a tendency to pick character names on forums that cause a reaction in others. I always wanted to be a villain who wasn't a villain but someone people both hated and respected and never forgot all at the same time. Some of the most likable people have narcissistic tendencies as long as they do not take themselves too seriously.

Aleister Crowley was the worlds greatest living poet. It was either be Crowley or Winston Churchill here. Britain had the best and most powerful witches on earth.

When ghosts move things or play with lights, that's there way of saying hello. They don't want to be forgotten in this world by the living. Few people acknowledge the dead just the same as the living. There are powers that allow living people to see, be or feel in different dimensions. That is why some teach the living respect for the dead. I say somebody had to care for them and acknowledge their existence.

The topic is very interesting and it can be constructive if done intelligently, seriously and without offending or bikering anyone ..at last basically we're just trying to communicate.

The proof that there are different dimensions is inside us.. man is made of matter and spirit two dimensional elements very different, but do not forget that they are constantly connected and related to each other,
What is missing in the modern man..it is the link between the two dimensions, the link or knowledge which belonged to humanity lived in the former eternity because everything is already been the eternity is behind us.
A special journey into oneself should be the path.. the way.. to rediscover the ancient knowledge of our consciousness
